Ramon E. Javier is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator who brings to every matter, insights from being a seasoned litigator and trial attorney, managing attorney, and consultant.
Ramon is originally from New York City, NY and graduated from New York University in 1991 with a B.A. from the Gallatin Division (now Gallatin School of Individualized Studies). He then attended Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center obtaining his J.D. in 1995. Ramon is a member of the state bars of New York, District of Columbia, and Florida as well as numerous federal courts. In the 30 years since obtaining his law degree, Ramon has tried over one hundred jury trials to verdict and holds the highest (AV-Preeminent) rating according to Martindale Hubbell.
Prior to founding FADR, Mr. Javier devoted over 20 years to the defense of corporations, small businesses, and insurance companies. He was a partner with a national defense firm and was the managing attorney of a national insurance company’s Miami office. Ramon gained a wealth of experience in personal injury, premises liability, and professional liability matters. He handled a broad range of cases including claims against health care providers, architects, engineers, general contractors and product manufacturers, as well as claims involving hospitality, entertainment businesses, and other large and small companies.
Ramon has litigated and tried cases throughout the State of Florida on behalf of a myriad of clients including contractors, security companies, restaurants and taverns, recreation centers, transportation companies, product manufacturers and distributors. Ramon’s early trial experience was in New York as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Division and while in private practice in Manhattan. From 2000-2003 he was an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, serving as an assistant chief in the career criminal unit, and prosecuted a myriad of matters including homicides, armed robberies, armed burglaries, and narcotics trafficking.
